There has been an outpouring of sympathy for a woman charged with a number of driving offences following a fatality at Smiths Lake earlier this year.

The 43-year-old male passenger in the Holden Commodore was killed when the vehicle crashed on The Lakes Way in March.
The driver was a 39-year-old woman.
The Great Lakes Advocate’s article also was criticised with Ashley Boyd-Skinner writing on Facebook: “Terrible reporting in my opinion.”
Kathryn L Stow posted on Facebook: “She will never forgive herself......poor woman she needs support in this time not punishment.”
Karlene Walters described the woman as one of the kindest souls she knew.
“And to have that in the paper is past wrong,” she said.
Diane Hlm said: “So much sadness for this woman who lost her loved one.”
Becky McClure: “Feel for the family. Much love to them.”
Karlene Walters earlier wrote that it was brutal and unfair and she would do anything in the world to take her pain away.
