A proposal to alter traffic conditions at the four-way intersection of Dibbs Street, Woosters Lane and the Pacific Highway at Nabiac is open for feedback.

The roadworks upgrades and modifications are proposed as part of the Highway Service Centre development at the existing caravan sales site, on the Pacific Highway immediately to the north of the Nabiac township.
Entry and exit ramps to and from the service centre site are conditions of the development consent.

Following the design review process of the proposed modifications with Transport for NSW it has been determined that additional intersection modifications will be required to improve the safety of the surrounding road network.
Under the proposal, travellers heading north on the Pacific Highway would no longer have the option to turn right into Dibbs Street, and vehicles exiting Woosters Lane would no longer be able to cross into Dibbs Street or turn right into the southbound lane of the Pacific Highway.
For northbound vehicles accessing Nabiac, the safest option is to use the overpass at the western end of town.
If vehicles are accessing the highway to the east of this overpass, there is an existing u-turn bay at Pipeclay Creek Road approximately one kilometre to the north of the Woosters Lane/Dibbs Street intersection.

Motorists travelling south on the Pacific Highway, and traffic exiting Dibbs Street will not be affected.
