The State government grants provide up to $10,000 to help conserve, repair and protect war memorials across NSW.
Member for Myall Lakes, Stephen Bromhead, believed it was important to look after the war memorials in our region.
"War memorials are places of remembrance that help us to understand our history," he said.
"It is important that we keep them in good condition through careful repair and maintenance."
Acting Minister for Veterans, Geoff Lee, said the funding would ensure the contributions of veterans and the military in NSW was acknowledged.
"Our war memorials are precious monuments we need to cherish and protect as they give us a place to reflect and pay our respects to those brave soldiers who fought for the freedom we enjoy today," he said.
