There are hundreds every year all over the country.
But one stands out as the very best: Motorclassica, held every October in Melbourne.
Now in its 10th year, it has grown from strength to strength.
It exhibits some of the best and classiest cars and motorcycles from all over the world.
Motorclassica kicks off in earnest on the morning of Thursday, October 10 with Tour Classica, a short road rally through Melbourne's CBD en route to the Royal Exhibition Building.
This marks the public's first opportunity to view the stable of pristine vehicles which make up the concours each year.
The show opens to the public on Friday, October 11.

Highlights of the show will be tributes to Bentley, Alvis, Citroen and Abarth and the appearance of special guest ambassador, Sandra Button, the director of the prestigious and world-leading Pebble Beach Concours d'Elegance in California.
Motorclassica will be held at the world heritage listed Royal Exhibition Building (worth a visit in its own right with beautiful surrounding gardens).
The show runs from October 11-13.
If you get to only one motor show in 2019 make it Motorclassica - you won't be disappointed.
