More from road ramblings:
AutoBlog started off their test of the 2004 RAV4 by saying, “Toyota's RAV4 is stylish and useful, and comes with Toyota's reputation for quality, durability and reliability.”
This encapsulates Laurie's experience.
Laurie's is the cruiser model of the RAV4, the car is powered by an all-alloy 2.4-litre VVTi engine producing 120kW (161bhp) at 5700rpm and 224Nm of torque at 4000rpm.
It drives via a four-speed automatic transmission.
When new the Cruiser sold for $42430.
Laurie's experience of the car is only positive.
Regular maintenance has seen it super reliable. I had a short drive and found the tightness of the car belied its age.
Laurie has kept the car in excellent condition, a testimony to both Laurie and Toyota.
