The nail-biting wait is over for Year 12 students across NSW with the release of ATAR results and Top Achievers, All Round Achievers, and Distinguished Achievers lists.

While no students in the Mid-Coast region made the Top Achievers or All Round Achievers lists this year 33 students have made the list of elite students recognised as distinguished achievers.
Nineteen students from Great Lakes College Senior Campus, Tuncurry made it on to the distinguished achievers list, with 10 for mathematics, two extension mathematics and eight mathematics standard two.
Other outstanding achievements were two, visual arts, four society and culture, while the remainder was spread across design and technology, ancient history and personal development, health and physical education.
Mathematics standard two achievement shows consistency across all s classes with a seven per cent increase in band 6s, principal, Davina Bowen said.
"Overall the results in the top three bands show increases including 13.4 per cent increase in ancient history, 17.49 per cent," she said.
"Biology, drama 6.66 per cent and PDHPE 29.28 per cent, while and society and culture 7.51 per cent.
"Most students seeking to further their study at university have already received early entry offers; the results confirm their capacity to achieve at the next level.:
