In grade 2, Forster have maintained their winning way with a 9-1 win over Wingham. They lead on 26 points.
They are followed by Leagues, with a big 10-0 win over Old Bar and West who defeated Tuncurry 9-1.
Next week’s clash between second and third placed Leagues and West will be important to both clubs trying to maintain contact with Forster.
In grade 3, Gloucester have continued to roll on with a 9-1 win over Tuncurry at home, and continue to lead on 27.5 points.
Harrington’s 8-2 win over Leagues keeps them in second and Forster have moved into third, courtesy of a 9.5-0.5 win over Palms.
Round four has the clash between first and second and will be crucial to Harrington’s chances of staying in contact.

Harrington remain in second and gained a point on the leaders after winning 10-0 against Manning Point.
Forster defeated Blackhead 8-2 and have moved past them into third spot. Harrington versus Forster at Harrington is the big clash next week.

Lansdowne jumped into second after downing Forster 9-1, and Railway got their first win defeating Wingham 10-0.
Lansdowne are hard to beat at home, and their clash with leaders Sporties there next week is a must win.

Forster lead on 30 points, and Gloucester had the bye.
In grade 7/2, Tuncurry’s 10-0 win over West has them leading on 30 points and after three rounds already has them with a huge lead over second place.
Sporties have remained in second spot despite tasting defeat 1.5-8.5 at the hands of Forster(2). Leagues had the bye.
All of the section leaders in the six’s and seven’s have yet to have their bye, so I would expect some closing of the gap in the next two rounds when we reach the halfway mark.
Next Sunday sees the first representative game of the year with the annual playing of the Dooker Eggart Shield against Zone 14.
