The event is organised by well-known local artists from Hannam Vale, and drawing support from artists based in Port Macquarie through to Forster and beyond.
This popular community fundraising event goes from strength to strength, bringing a growing number of artists together with their communities in a picturesque rural setting.
The spokesperson for the organising committee said last year’s event saw a comprehensive display of artworks, bringing a record number of visitors through the doors.
“So come along and enjoy a glass of bubbly with us on opening night, or a cuppa over the weekend, and view our extensive collection of local art,” the spokesperson said.
“We look forward to seeing you at the event.”
Opening night is on Friday, April 28 from 6.30pm until 8.30pm with the official opening at 7.30pm. Cost is $8 per person and includes refreshments and lucky door prize entry.
The exhibition is open to the public on Saturday, April 29 and Sunday, April 30 from 10am until 4pm and entry is by gold coin donation.
The viewers’ choice awards are, $300 first prize; $150 second prize and $50 packers prize. Prize winners are announced at 4.30pm on Sunday April 30.
The Hannam Vale Hall is at 1205 Hannam Vale Road, on the north western side of Hannam Vale village. Follow the signs from Moorland/Johns River turn off on the Pacific Highway.
