History was made in the women’s open division as reigning champions TBA added their name to the honours board for a seventh time. They bested Beercelona with an extra time goal.

The men’s open division was taken out by Lewis Magic FC who scored a 4-1 win over local side Mick Perry Concreting.

The women’s division featured 42 teams with the men’s boasting 66 sides.

Event organiser Jerrad Allen said the finals played on Harry Elliott Oval gave the event an electric atmosphere.

“The spectators got to see some great football played all over the weekend with over 800 games played,” Jerrad said.

Great Lakes Football would like to thank all sponsors, supporters, volunteers and organisers who helped make the event a success.
