The side featured multiple players from the local competition, including Forster Tuncurry’s Carlin Pettet, Taree’s Lachlan William and Wingham’s Kane Evans.
The game started off with three tries in quick succession in the first 15 minutes, scored by Jamaine Anderson, Jordan Taualii and Ben Lyon.
The rest of the match was built on big hits, aerial raids and solid defense that guided the Dolphins to a convincing 54-0 victory.
The Central Coast under 18 contingent made amends later in the day, beating East Coast 44-36.
Wingham’s Taj Wood was a standout for the Dolphins, at one stage proving effective in his halfback role by orchestrating a try for Grafton’s Jacob Ryan.
A frantic three try blitz late in the game was not enough to mount a comeback.
