You probably are aware of cricket games being held up for all many of reasons – rain, bushfire, heat. Now add dugite to that list.
Thanks to Clinton Joynes who shared this video of an unexpected visitor to Halls Head Junior Cricket Club's match in Meadow Springs this morning.
The dugite (a species of venomous, potentially lethal, snake native to Western Australia) held up play – slithering from one side of the field to the other.
The kids mostly kept their cool.
