A capacity audience of more than 1000 opera enthusiasts enjoyed this year's event, hosted by Great Lakes Creative Network and the Rotary Club of Great Lakes.
The event raised and donated more than $20,000 to local charities.
Next year's event will be held on March 4 and feature a new cast of performers
The 2017 concert will be bigger and better as we have made number of improvements to site venue such as raising the stage and sound improvements, Nyaree Donnelly said.
Also, the main performance will begin later in the day in the hope the weather will be more comfortable for the audience, she said.
“You will also have the chance of selecting the section of your seat at the time of purchase.
“The audience will experience an amazing musical journey located in a most stunning location at John Wright Park besides the picturesque Wallis Lake, overlooking Cape Hawke Harbour.”
Gates will open at 1.30pm and from 2.30pm until 3.30pm patrons will be entertained by a string trio playing fine music while enjoying a cheese platter, local oysters and a wine at their seats.
“If you prefer we will have tables and seats by the water for you to relax and if you are lucky you may see dolphins playing in the water.
“Then at 4pm Voci Stupende will burst onto the stage with up to six performers featuring some of Australia’s best up and coming classical performers.
“You will be enchanted with solos, duos, trios and the whole ensemble with arias and songs from some of the world’s favourite operas and musicals.”
