Shine On is a biannual event where talented Forster-Tuncurry students from kindergarten to year 12 are brought together in music, dance and drama.
Among the many items there is a combined choir of over 100 students, and a combined band of over 40 students involving secondary and primary students from the Great Lakes Learning Community.
Families will have the pleasure of seeing their child/children showcase their talents in a professionally run event to be held at Club Forster.
The matinee will be held at 11am and the night performance at 6.30pm on Wednesday September 21.
If you would like to attend either show, tickets will be on sale at the front office of the Great Lakes College.
Adult tickets will cost $8 and children will cost $6.
Great Lakes College principal Graeme Jennings said that Shine On “showcases the performing arts talents of students from kindergarten through to year 12 from all of the schools in our learning community”.
“It is a wonderful night of entertainment items that includes drama, music, the learning community band, dance and for the first time, student art displays," he said.
“Staff and students are busy rehearsing and refining their performances to ensure that this will be a showcase of the highest standard.
“We hope to see many parents/carers in attendance to support this event.”
