This year's South Metropolitan Championships at Bondi Icebergs, was a successful outing for the Forster Turtles Swim Group.

A swimming competition for both men and women, results were: gold to Anne Curtis, over 60s and Alistair Graham over 25s; bronze Lyn Graham over 55s.
In relay events the Turtles won gold in the over 60 women’s relay and bronze in the over 50s and over 40s women’s relays.
First time competitors enjoyed the event and the timed relay resulted in our best result with the Turtles men and women coming fifth out of 17 teams.
The team is now enthusiastically training for the National Winter Swimming Competition in Newcastle on September 18.
