Great Lakes Breast Cancer Support Group has extended their thanks oncologist, Dr Livshin, for his input and time to speak about the format involved in clinical trials.

The vast number of trials involve patients from major cities and hence distance is a barrier and therefore less patients from rural areas are able to be part of the pharmaceutical trial system.
The group also acknowledged community donations from Forster Tuncurry Lions Club, Forster Bowling Club women's committee and Forster Rotary Club.
From donations Breast Friends can direct support to those women who have been affected by breast cancer.
The next meeting will be held on Wednesday, August 3 with the annual general meeting followed by guest speaker, Manning Base Hospital breast care nurse Annette will answer any questions.
All women who have experienced breast cancer are welcome to attend our meetings.
