The equipment has arrived from the Modern Teaching Aids Company and was made possible with parents, friends, neighbours, relatives and carers spending at Woolworths and earning shopping stickers for their efforts. Some shopping stickers were even collected from towns far away.
The school would like to thank Woolworths and all the families who contributed their shopping points to the school. Some of the equipment received included: musical instruments, lego, duplo and building blocks, construction materials, dictionaries, and mini white boards.
The senior classes received trundle wheels which measure distances, compass sets and a modern globe of the world which has removable pieces for exploring the earth.
The Unit classes were fortunate enough to earn a special Playtable. The school would also like to acknowledge the work of Mrs Margaret Devrill for overseeing the entire project.
