The committee membership is made-up of community representatives and medical sector professional positions.
It is chaired by Don Macinnis OAM. A former radiographer, Mr Macinnis is a former chair and life member of the Australian Institute Radiography and was the first radiographer at Manning Hospital. In 2009 he was awarded an Order of Australia Medal for service to the radiography profession and his community.
Medical sector profession committee members are:
- Jodi Nieass - Manning Hospital acting general manager is the former director of nursing and midwifery services.
- Janine Briginshaw - Hunter New England Health Lower Mid North Coast Cluster general manager is responsible for the management and co-ordination of health services in Manning Hospital, Gloucester, Bulahdelah and Wingham hospitals and Taree, Forster, Harrington, Gloucester, Bulahdelah, Stroud and Hawkes Nest community health centres.
- Gail Stevens - Mental Health service manager.
- Karen Devenish - Hunter New England Lower Mid North Coast Cluster representative.
- Deb Lowe - Manning Hospital quality improvement co-ordinator.
- Collette Gray - Taree Community Health Centre clinical co-ordinator dental.
- Vi Hunt - Drug and Alcohol Services general manager.
- Kaycee Wisemantel - Primary Care liaison.
- Mel Coble - Manning Hospital corporate support to Manning Hospital general manager.
- Graham Brown OAM - chairman and treasurer of Bushland Health Group.
Community representative committee members:
- Sally Crawford - Member of St Vincent's Hospital Medical Ethics Board for 12 years. She is a literacy co-ordinator and tutor and is also completing a diploma in counselling.
- David West - Councillor with Greater Taree City Council for 18 years and a member of NSW Police for 15 years.
- Ken Patterson - Retired businessman who currently serves on three boards. Served more than 30 years as a member of the Rotary Club of Taree.
- Helen Lawson - Helen attends the Manning Hospital renal services unit for renal dialysis three days a week. For more than 60 years she has managed her diabetes and for 20 years she has counselled people diagnosed with diabetes.
- Steve Attkins - Manning Valley Business Chamber economic development manager; contested the 2011 and 2015 NSW elections as an Independent candidate for Myall Lakes and under the Howard government he served on the regional grants board, Regional Development Australia, and on the advisory panel for Hunter Central Rivers Catchment Management Authority. He also owns Great Lakes Winery and Great Lakes Paddocks at Wootton.
- Corinne Lang - Volunteer 'Pink Lady' at Manning Hospital for 14 years and is the current president of the Ladies Auxiliary.
Manning Health Committee is currently working to fill the Aboriginal health position on the committee.
