The event, which started on Saturday March 14, wrapped up with clean, two foot peaks at Box Beach on Sunday.
FTBA member Tristian Sheedy placed second in the groms under 14s event while fellow member Jack Rogers from Forster came in third.
France Hazar was edged out of first place in the open women’s by Martinsville’s Shauna Gillett. Hazar placed second in the open women’s and third in the grand masters over 45s.
Tuncurry’s Josh Smith placed fifth overall in the drop knee event while Harrington’s Jacob Dunn placed fifth in both the open men’s and junior men’s events.
Despite not receiving a top four finish, Billy Vercoe made his mark in the open men’s division, posting an impressive 14.26 heat total (out of a possible 20 points) - the highest of the first round.
FTBA president Aaron Dodds said overall, 14 FTBA members competed with nine having entered the titles for the very first time.
