Semara Resort and Spa in the heart of Bali's fashionable Seminyak has a suite of specials on offer.

Outrigger Little Hastings Street Resort & Spa at Noosa features Stephanies Ocean Spa with a treatment menu that includes vinotherapy, a range of marine- and Hawaiian-influenced treatments and a new range of therapeutic bath soaks. It has seven treatment rooms, including a hydro-massage bath, vichy shower and a private triple suite with a mineral flotation pool that incorporates colour therapy.

The resort has a special for the Noosa International Food and Wine Festival, May 16-19. Stay in a one-bedroom apartment with national park view for $299 a room a night for two people and receive two general-admission tickets to the festival and buffet breakfast for two each day. Paradise beckons

Four Seasons Resorts Maldives has put together a couple of spa packages.

Four Seasons Landaa Giraavaru has 10 open-air spa treatment pavilions - including three dedicated to Ayurveda - either in their own lush tropical gardens or on stilts over a lagoon. There is an emphasis on natural healing with yoga sessions and chakra treatments on offer.

The resort also has Ayurvedic meal choices in all four restaurants.

The package includes complimentary return seaplane transfers for two (valued at $1023) to Landaa Giraavaru from the airport at Kuda Huraa, one two-hour Ayurvedic ritual for two and one 60-minute massage or facial each guest, and daily breakfast in Cafe Landaa for two guests.
