This will be a Fast 5 carnival to be held on Saturday, January 8.
Under the Fast 5 format competitors in each age group take part in a swim and four board races in quick succession.
It was introduced to the LNC last year and proved to be a hit with competitors and officials.
More Fast 5 carnivals are also expected to be held in the branch during January.
The carnival season has been delayed this season due to COVID-19 restrictions.
Initially the LNC branch championships was scheduled to be held this Sunday, November 28.
However, branch official, Terry Aldridge said this carnival would be held on Sunday, February 13.
Six clubs, Forster, Cape Hawke, Pacific Palms, Black Head, Taree Old Bar and Crowdy Head make up the LNC.
Meanwhile, all clubs are preparing for the belated start for the nippers season on Sunday, December 5.
Clubs will welcome all nippers whose parents are full vaccinated on December 5 and December 12.
On Sunday, December 19 all nippers and their families can take part.
"As instructed by NSW Health and under the direction of branch reasonable measures will be taken to ensure only fully vaccinated people are in attendance on December 5 and 12,'' a branch official explained.
