In the week since Tuncurry Pharmacy began offering members of the community the AstraZeneca vaccine more than 50 people have rolled up their sleeves to received the jab.

Pharmacist, Steve Elliot is one of a growing number of chemists across the country now offering the service.
Mr Elliott said he was happy to offer the service and assist get as many people vaccinated as soon as possible.
"It is nice we can give the community the option to get it done here and not to have to wait at the doctor's. We need to get more people vaccinated."
The pharmacy is offering the opportunity to walk-in and receive a vaccination or book an appointment.
"We want to make it as easy and as smooth as possible.
"But, we would prefer a heads up; we can get busy filling prescriptions and administering vaccinations."
All vaccines are given by Mr Elliott, who has done an immunisation course, including additional training to give the COVID-19 jab.

The pharmacy will offer the Maderna vaccine when it becomes available later in the year.

Twin Towns Medical GP, Lakham Fernando is urging every eligible member of the community to get vaccinated now, especially those with a morbidity condition (heart disease, diabetes, obesity).
Dr Fernando, has seen daily jabs increase from seven to 10 people a day to between 30-40.
"Because of the spread in Sydney people are worried," he said
While the often requested Pfizer was not available as yet, his surgery had ample supplies of the AstraZeneca vaccine,
All vaccinations are administered by Dr Fernando, who has assured there was very little pain; "I've had a lot of experience."
"It is very important to prioritise during this pandemic."
