There are several small halls and outdoor park venues for ceremonies, and some great reception options such as Cedar Bar & Kitchen, The Lodge Bellingen and Raleigh Winery to name just a few, as well as many romantic accommodation options.
Get the village vibe
The good folk at Cedar Bar & Kitchen recommend staying in Bellingen itself if you're after a "relaxed village vibe" within walking distance of your accommodation and wedding venue.
An itinerary could start with a gathering at the Bellingen Brewery the night before the wedding.
"Then head over to the Federal Hotel for a quick boogie before a good night's sleep," Cedar Bar suggests. "The morning of your wedding stroll down to the river for a quick dip, or wander the boutique shops on Hyde St (the Emporium is a must)."
There's always time for a quick nine holes at the gloriously green Bellingen Golf Club before your afternoon celebration at Cedar Bar & Kitchen, situated right in the middle of town in a 112-year-old renovated church.
A short drive out of town is The Lodge Bellingen, with its spectacular sunset views across rolling green pastures and exciting catering options from the team at Hilltop At The Lodge.
Other options to consider for your big day include:
- Raleigh Winery & House
- Bellingen Riverside Cottages
- The Old Butter Factory Café
- Components Dorrigo
- Club Urunga
- Brierfield Hall
- Gleniffer Hall
- Raleigh Hall
- Mylestom Hall
