Stroll down the footpath and take in the innovative and stunning array of Christmas trees, decorations and fairy lights.
There's the Sitting Wombat Book Shop which has fashioned a Christmas tree from books, while further down the street, Salad Bowl has concocted a Carmen Miranda-type tree from fruit.
Never disappointing is Rosita Floral Service, which this year has created a magnificent tree from greenery and lights.
These fabulous displays are just a small part of a combined Forster Tuncurry Quota and business chamber Creative Christmas competition, inviting retailers and business operators to embrace the festive season, following 12 months of challenges and heartache, by dressing up their windows and premises with a touch of festive cheer.
Quota organising committee member, Jan Irvine has been delighted with the enthusiastic response from businesses throughout Forster and Tuncurry.
But, Mrs Irvine was even more thrilled when one of the participants donated a collection of children's toys for distribution to the Great Lakes Women's Shelter.
"It was one of those feel good moments for me," Mrs Irvine said.
"People can be so generous."
And, the generosity doesn't stop there.
The Creative Christmas Competition invites members of the public to vote for their favourite outlet at participating businesses for a chance to win one of 10, $50 #ShopMidCoast gift cards.
In turn the business judged with the 'best display' will win $1000 to donate to either Great Lakes Women's Shelter, Homebase Youth Services or Great Lakes Palliative Care.
"It's a win-win all round," Mrs Irvine said.
Forster Tuncurry Business Chamber president, Megan Lewis echoed her comments, and encouraged members of the community to get out, take a stroll down Wharf Street or through Tuncurry and take in the colourful and unique displays.
Ms Lewis also took the opportunity to remind everyone about the #ShopMidCoast gift card $5000 give away.
All you need to do is buy a gift card from one of the loading stores located throughout the Great Lakes for your chance to win a #ShopMidCoast gift card valued at $5000, Ms Lewis said.
#ShopMidCoast gift cards are available to purchase for as little as $10, and can be redeemed at more than 250 outlets across the Mid Coast region.
Imagine if you won one of the $50 and the big $5000 #ShopMidCoast gift cards - that's a whopping $5050 to spend on Christmas presents, and yourself, she said.
