Yet with water being such a damaging commodity, it is an obligatory component in all road and bridge design work from which resulting specifications provide integrity in construction and ongoing maintenance needs as well as estimates to facilitate the provision of adequate funding before work commences.
Many of our former Greater Taree City Council-managed roads I suggest are in a sad state primarily from inadequate application of sound civil engineering skills perhaps brought about by elected councillors not seeking to understand the essential technical principles that achieve value for money when undertaking specified road and bridge works
With our new council and from what can be witnessed on the ground, the future is looking much brighter in the many road maintenance and reconstruction projects now being undertaken by skilled civil and bridge engineers where the provision of essential drainage works and/or rectification of past inadequate drainage work is apparently being fully supported by MidCoast Council
Co-ordination apparently facilitated by MidCoast Council engineers in changes to essential public utility services also appear to be taking place well before select material and sealing takes place.
