- Mid Coast coach Mick Grass
Grass said Mid Coast produced their best football in the opening 20 minutes and they led 2-0 at halftime.
Emma Shipperlee, Chelsea Hall and Jess James were the goal scorers. Grass said Shipperlee was the top performer for Mid Coast.
"She was sharp on the ball and her work rate was excellent,'' he said.
Mid Coast play New Lambton on Sunday at the Zone Field at Taree. New Lambton sit behind Mid Coast on the ladder.
"It'll be good to be back playing at Taree,'' Grass said.
