The new facility, expected to finish later this year, will provide a much needed upgrade for the popular location.
Enjoyed by residents and visitors alike, the Pebbly Beach foreshore is one of Forster's most-used outdoor parks, with barbecues, children's playground and park all situated on The Tanks, a popular swimming spot in summer.
The coastal walk threads through the park, and is used for Forster's popular Park Run events.
The exterior appearance of the amenities will be vastly improved as a result of the upgrade, in keeping with our other recent upgrades in Forster.

Replacing the current facilities, the rebuild will include three unisex toilets, a baby change facility and an accessible toilet, with the design matching the recent new Forster amenities upgrades at Main Beach and Little Street.
"The exterior appearance of the amenities will be vastly improved as a result of the upgrade, in keeping with our other recent upgrades in Forster," MidCoast Council community spaces, recreation and trades manager, Dan Aldridge said.

The work is expected to be underway until December, with portable toilets available on site for the duration.
While existing underground infrastructure means the toilet block will be located on the current site, landscaping around the upgraded facility will improve visibility of the toilets from the playground and barbecue facilities.
The project is made possible thanks to the NSW Government's public reserves management fund program at a total cost of more than $112,000.
