The money will help ensure the popular annual event continues to showcase the talents of local and visiting entertainers.
"We are very appreciative of the grant from the NSW Government and Steve Bromhead," Lakeside Festival spokesperson, Mark Johnson said.
"And, we are looking forward to performing in the park in November," Mr Johnson said.
The organising committee has optimistically planned to hold this year's event on November 7 on its homeground at John Wright Park, Tuncurry.
"This will be our eighth festival at John Wright Park if this year's concert goes ahead.
"We are in a position for the festival to go ahead should circumstances allow; we can only be guided by NSW Health and MidCoast Council who have all been very supportive."

Member for Myall Lakes, Stephen Bromhead, who helped Lakeside Festive secure the Regional Event Fund grant, said 59 events throughout the State had shared similar funding.
The NSW Government, through its tourism and major events agency, Destination NSW, will provide funding to event organisers across the State to deliver events that will attract visitors and drive economic activity for local businesses, Mr Bromhead said.
He said COVID-19 restrictions led to the postponement of many regional NSW events, which meant many event owners and local businesses lost cash flow during the shutdown period.
"Local businesses in the Manning and Great Lakes communities are preparing for a much needed economic boost after enduring drought, bushfires and more recently COVID-19," Mr Bromhead said.
"This funding will bring regional events back to life, which will not only put money in the pockets of event vendors but will be a huge morale boost for our communities at such a trying time.

"Events like the Lakeside Festival supported through the Regional Event Fund will give visitors plenty of extra motivation to get out and explore the area," Mr Bromhead said.
"The Manning Great Lakes is eagerly welcoming visitors back to drive spending in communities that rely on the visitor economy to support local businesses.
"Arts, culture, music, sport, and food and wine events highlight the unique attributes of regional towns that make them outstanding places to visit, and stimulate economic activity in our communities.
"Tourism is a major contributor to our local economy, and we know that events like the Lakeside Festival are a drawcard for intrastate and interstate visitors so the NSW Government is proud to support these activities at such a critical time."
