You'd be hard pressed to find anyone who doesn't like to bag a bargain.
Every year the annual Great Lakes Advocate Crazy Day one-day sales bonanza brings local and visiting shoppers to town all keen to take home a bargain.
And, this year the sales will be held once again - under a different banner.
The first Great Lakes Great Sales is a three-day shopping spree designed to give locals and visitors a chance to not only grab a great bargain, but support and celebrate with local retailers as they emerge from the coronavirus shut-down.
This year's mid-year sales event will be held during the winter school holidays, from Thursday, July 9 until Saturday, July 11.
Forster Tuncurry Business Chamber president, Megan Lewis explained the traditional Crazy Day moniker didn't seem to be the right fit for the 2020 sales.
"So, some local business owners and the business chamber put their heads together and came up with the new name, Great Lakes Great Sales," Ms Lewis said.
"The core principles are the same, that is a designated period during the July school holidays in which businesses offer discounts and promote new products," she said.
"Our aim is to harness both online marketing and the enthusiasm of our participating small businesses to boost trade and encourage visitors back in-store through an all-in, three-day promotion."

In a positive sign local shoppers are ensured great deals from a variety of outlets, within 24 hours of the promotion's launch more than 25 businesses registered to participate.
Retailer and Lumpy's Nursery & Landscape Yard co-principal, Jenny Rodick was delighted with the response to the sale.
"It's fabulous to see so many businesses coming on board for this, not so crazy sale," Ms Rodick said.
