This follows the announcement that community sport competitions, full training and contact activities can resume from July 1.
The recovery package is intended to assist both local and State sporting organisations as well as regional academies of sport.
The funding comes on top of the $35 million grants programs scheduled for 2020/21 and the $127 million already committed to the Active Kids program in 2020/21.
Member for Myall Lakes, Stephen Bromhead, said the package was a win for local sporting organisations that had done it tough throughout the pandemic.
"Sport is part of the fabric of the Myall Lakes community, providing local participants and volunteers a sense of identity and connection to community," Mr Bromhead said.
"The postponement and cancellation of local competitions and activities has placed a significant financial and emotional strain on the organisations and individuals involved.
"The Community Sport Recovery Package will help local clubs and associations survive the crisis and come back stronger than ever, so that the thousands of residents involved in sport can get back to the activities they love."

Acting minister for sport, Geoff Lee, said the benefits of the package would flow on to local economies.
"The fast-tracked grants will help support community sport organisations return to activities and contribute to the economies of local communities across NSW," Mr Lee said.
Further details of the Community Sport Recovery Package will be available soon.
