A 70-year-old man was airlifted from Forster to John Hunter Hospital, Newcastle on Saturday morning, January 11 after being found unconscious at a private residence.

The elderly man was treated at the scene by local ambulance paramedics before being stabilised by the Westpac Rescue Helicopter critical care medical team.
He was flown direct to Newcastle.
