From the epic Jindaboonda Postie Trek in May to the devastating fires across the region to the day-to-day beauty of the beachside town she calls home.
Understandably, it was no easy task to narrow down all her images to just five, but we're glad she did.
Enjoy.
Black Head SLSC
An early riser and avid documenter of the sunrise, Deb has seen and captured the dawn at her local beach from countless different angles.
However, there's no denying this image of Black Head Surf Club at sunrise is something special.
Indigenous girl, NAIDOC Week
Taken at a NAIDOC week ceremony in July, Deb has a particular fondness for this photo.
"I love this image," she said.
Hallidays Point
Deb took this photo at sunset in October, the day after fires threatened homes and lives in Tuncurry, Darawank and Hallidays Point.
Black Head Beach
Taken in November as a second wave of fires terrorised the Mid Coast, this image shows Black Head Surf Club's Sunday morning nippers going on while the Hillville fire tears through the townships of Wallabi Point and Old Bar.
Firefighter meets child
Taken in November, this photo shows Diamond Beach Fire Brigade volunteer, Jan Kemp, with youngster, Shiloh Lillian Atkins.
"Shiloh wanted to meet our local heroes and share her Halloween candy," Deb said.
