Hallidays Point, Diamond Beach and Black Head residents and businesses will gather on Saturday, December 14 to host a 'thank you fundraiser' for firefighters.

Event organisers are asking the community to "come and thank our local heroes in person."

Club Black Head - Main Street, Hallidays Point will be transformed.
A gold coin donation will allow access to the event that will feature live music from noon with Steve Shotton, Darren Jack, The Past Masters and Nik Selum performing.
Kiddies Hut @ Diamond Beach will entertain children, and the event will include a jumping castle, face painting and other activities.
A $5 donation per child will give unlimited access to activities.
Soccer, netball, bowls and darts challenges will run from 2pm.
There will be a barbecue and the Lions Club chocolate wheel will run from 2pm.
More than $6000 in raffle and auction prizes will be up for grabs.
