EARLIER:
A bushfire along Minimbah Road, north of Wallis Lake continues to burn out of control.
More than 500 hectares have been burnt since the fire began late last week.
Firefighters have contained a small spot fire which started in the Shallow Bay area.
According to the NSW Rural Fire Service (RFS) Fires near me site, immediate threat to homes in the area has eased.
However, the RFS has advised residents living in the Wallingat, Shallow Bay or Coomba Park areas to monitor conditions and to be prepared and ready to take action in case the situation changes after the fire crossed the Coolongolook River.
Check and follow your Bush Fire Survival Plan.
If you do not have a plan, decide what you will do if the situation changes.
Leaving early is your safest option the RFS advises.
