The decisions might not have gone their way on the scorecards, but Forster boxing trainer Shane Nielsen of Deliver Sportz Gym was happy with the way all his fighters performed at the Neutral Corner/Lionheart Promotions Fight Night at Club Punchbowl on Saturday, October 12.

Nielsen's prized heavyweight Shant Nercessian was kept to a draw in his bout against Sydney fighter Jeff King; a result Nielsen didn't agree with but nonetheless accepted.
"He looked like the better boxer," Nielsen said.
"His movement and his speed were really good."
Despite the questionable decision, Nielsen believed there was a lot of good to be taken away from the fight, with Nercessian shaking off the 'ring rust' that plagued him in his first professional bout following a 12-year absence from the sport.
"Everything we worked on before the fight he put into practice," Nielsen said.
"There'll be bigger fights to come for him soon."
Forster first-timer Dyllan Kennedy was even unluckier with the judges, going down to Maniu Dawanincura in a split decision, but Nielsen said he was the better fighter undoubtedly.
"That's boxing," he said.
"Me and Jason (fellow trainer Jason Harvey) were both really dirty with that call. I don't see how he lost the fight."
Nevertheless, Nielsen was impressed with his young fighter's debut, saying he executed everything that was asked of him.
Fellow debutante Nakita Quinn also went down, losing in a majority decision, but Nielsen said she showed plenty of promise.
"She landed the cleaner shots but she just didn't hit the other girl enough," he said.
"She'll come back stronger and fitter."
Nielsen said the Deliver Sportz team's next outing will be to Liverpool in early November, where he expected Nercessian, Kennedy, Quinn and possibly a number of his other boxers to fight on the night.
