On Wednesday, September 25, the students dressed in pink and joined in the fight against breast cancer by raising money for the McGrath Foundation.
They raised $140.
Earlier in the month they also did their part to raise awareness of suicide prevention as a part of R U OK? Day, raising $400 through gold coin donations and a bake sale put on by the Student Representative Council.
On Friday, September 27, the students and their teachers met at the Forster jetty at 8:30am for the long-running tradition of 'ride your bike to school day'.
The students (and teachers) brought a number of bygone styles back to life or took on the look of some well-known icons before catching the eyes of drivers and passersby as they made their way over the bridge and through Tuncurry.
Relieving principal Brad Germon said the last week of school gave students the opportunity to reflect on the fantastic achievement of completing their HSC after 13 years of schooling.
"This group of young men and women have been a pleasure to work with and we wish them every success in the upcoming HSC exams," he added.
