It should be a fine few days to get out and about across the Great Lakes this mid-winter weekend.
The cool mornings will continue before giving way to clear, sunny days with little chance of rain.
On the coast, expect early morning lows of seven degrees today and tomorrow, with a slightly balmier nine degrees on Sunday.
The highs are predicted to be 19 today, 20 tomorrow and 22 on Sunday.
The strong winds that prevailed yesterday should abate and on the water the seas will lessen as the weekend progresses.
Inland expect slightly cooler mornings, with lows of five degrees today and Sunday, and a chance of frost on Saturday as the barometer drops to four degrees.
The tops will be 18, 20 and 22 across the weekend.
The fine weather is expected to continue until at least Wednesday next week.
