The event is so much more than a bowls competition, many of the ladies see this as a holiday, and the choice of this year's location has proved a big hit.
Last year, Australian bowls star Sarah Boddington and her Tuncurry Beach-Composite team delivered five stunning unbeaten days of bowls to win the prestigious women's State Carnival at Warilla.
Boddington beat a spirited Milton Ulladulla 27-15 in the semi-finals and then beat South West Rocks 17-12 in the 18-end final.
