Temperatures on Saturday and Sunday will remain in the low to mid 20s, while along the coast today the temperature will reach 27 degrees and 29 degrees further inland.
Friday night's low will dip to 12-14 degrees.
Along the coast Saturday will reach a mainly sunny top of 21 degrees following an overnight low of 13, while Sunday will be slightly warmer with a range of 11-23 degrees.
Away from the coast, Saturday will be a mainly sunny day with a temperature range of 10-20 degrees, with a warmer sunny Sunday of 7-24 degrees.
With the second month of autumn almost over, temperatures along the coast have been almost summer-like with the April average of 24.6 degrees .8 degrees above the long-term average.
The highest temperature in Forster was 33 degrees on April 9, three degrees above the highest on record set in 2006, and three degrees below this year's top of 36 degrees set on February 12.
While April had more rainy days (14) than the 1897-2017 8.6 day average, just 65.6mm of rain was recorded, well below the 118.1mm April average.
1991 was the driest April on record when no rain fell for the month.
