Conducted offshore, contestants encountered challenging conditions, with some fishermen struggling to land a catch.
Six boats took part in the contest and 53 fish were caught overall, bringing in a combined catch of just under 30kgs.
Ross Daley was the most successful angler over the weekend, pulling in a 1.26kg Tragalan and a 1.68kg Dolphin Fish.
Graham Eyb reeled in the largest Flathead at 0.91kgs.
Club Forster Bluewater Fishing Club conducts fishing competitions on the weekend of the third Sunday of each month offshore of Forster from midnight Friday to midday Sunday.
Weigh-in is adjacent to the Forster Harbour boat ramp from 11.15am to midday Sunday.
A luncheon and monthly prize presentation is held afterwards at Club Forster at 2.30pm.

Cost of joining the club is only $10 with a $5 yearly renewal fee and a monthly fishing cost of $5 when you fish.
