The election will be held on May 18.
Six people have raised their hands to contest the seat.
But, who are they, what are their goals, how will they be your voice in Canberra and how will they help you, your business and the local community?
Rather than rely on pamphlets in the letterbox, Forster Tuncurry Business Chamber is hosting a Meet the Candidates breakfast meeting later this month.
We encourage you to come to our upcoming breakfast where you'll have the opportunity to ask these questions, and more, Forster Tuncurry Business Chamber president, Gary Gersbach said.
"Have your say; ask the candidates questions you want answers to and get involved in creating a future to be proud of."
Heading the line-up will be incumbent, Nationals representative, David Gillespie, while Garry Bourke will represent the United Australia Party, Ed Caruana, Australia Workers Party, Phil Costa, Country Labor, Stuart Watson, The Greens, while the independent candidate is Jeremy Miller.
The meeting will be held on Tuesday, April 30 at Forster Bowling Club.
