Each primary school in the region has its own way of choosing its leaders and a different list of role requirements, however, the general idea is still the same; to represent the school and lead by example.
Stroud Public School has four leaders, set up in an parliamentary type system.
Aliya Lyall is prime minister and is in charge of the sustainability portfolio, Maddox Smith is deputy prime minister with the sport portfolio, Felicity Holstein is the minister in charge of the communication portfolio and Emily George is the minister in charge of the social services portfolio.
The leadership team is responsible for the organisation of their portfolio, writing reports for parliament and leading all school initiatives and assemblies.
For Stroud Road Public School, the leaders are the Year 6 students, each with their own vision of leadership.
