The fisherman claims the sharks, which were caught on a set line overnight, were between eight and 10 foot in size and were caught while people were skiing in close proximity.
The largest shark was measured at 3.5m long while the smallest was 1.7m long.
Billy opened the sharks up and found interesting animals in their stomachs.
“The sharks must have been very hungry as there was baby sharks, dolphin and stingray in their stomachs,” Billy said.
The sharks were caught between the river mouth and the tavern.
All of the sharks were bull sharks.
A Facebook post of this story caused a stir between residents, with a lot of different views raised on the capture of the sharks.
The post received more than 100 comments with people debating whether the sharks should have been captured and killed.
One comment from Jane McIntosh said: “Sharks are endangered. Why are people killing them then parading it!”
Meanwhile Mellissa Conomos said: “ Fresh flake, they are commercial fisherman they will be sold to a seafood shop.”
