
Newly appointed MidCoast Council general manager, Adrian Panuccio is this month’s Forster Tuncurry Business Chamber breakfast meeting, guest speaker.
Mr Panuccio will be joined in the guests’ chair by MidCoast Council planning and natural systems acting director, Paul De Szell.
The last business chamber breakfast meeting for 2018, it will be held at Tuncurry Beach Bowling Club from 7am on Tuesday, November 27.
Mr Panuccio, who was appointed in July, came from Sydney, where he most recently was North Sydney Council chief operating officer.
With significant local government experience, Mr Panuccio has provided both legal and strategic advice within the sector since 1999, and managed a team of professionals that specialise in the areas of procurement, contract management, risk, legal services, and work health and safety.
He holds a Masters of Business Administration from the University of New England, and a Bachelor of Law from the University of Technology, Sydney.
Outside of work he is a keen golfer, social tennis player and restorer of old cars.

Paul De Szell is part of council’s executive team, taking the role of community spaces and services director when the three former councils merged.
Moving to the Mid North Coast from Yass Valley Council in February 2015, he joined the former Greater Taree City Council as executive leader, service delivery.
Mr De Szell has more than 20 years experience in local government spanning roles that have included service delivery, planning and building, and the environment, as well as experience in the private and not-for-profit sectors.
In his current role, he is responsible for tourism and economic Development.
