The Pacific Palms Public School’s futsal team travelled to Port Macquarie to represent the school in the State Futsal Champions of Champions competition recently.

Despite fielding a young side, the team displayed great skill and teamwork to dominate the pool games, winning three out of four games.
Moving through to the semi-finals they came up against Manning Valley Anglican College in a nail biter.
At full time the scores were locked at one apiece.

A thrilling penalty shootout followed, with Palms running out winners.
The side progressed to the final however were not able to overcome the stronger side of Camden High School.
The entire side should be proud of their efforts and the way they represented the school with such excellence.

After qualifying for the Australasian Futsal Champion of Champions the team is now busy planning a trip to QLD in November to complete in the next round of competition.
