The second annual all abilities kids triathlon will be hosted by Forster Triathlon Club on Sunday, November 4 from 9-10am.
Registration is now open online, and tickets can be purchased for $10 each on the Forster Triathlon Club website at www.Forstertriclub.com.au.
Participants can also register on the day from 8.30am.
The race is for all primary aged kids, with modifications available to help any children who have additional needs.
The event will start at 9am at the Forster YMCA, and there will be different length events for different age groups.
The bike ride will take place on Lakes St and Hadley St, with the road blocked off to allow complete safety, before the run around the field.
Everyone who participates will get a finishers hat, thanks to Lifeskills4kids occupational therapy and McDonald’s, a sausage sandwich and an ice block thanks to Aldi, and a soft drink thanks to Saxbys. Bunnings will also have an amazing fun pack available.
The whole idea of the event is to encourage kids to have a go. For more information, see the event’s Facebook page, allabiliitieskidsrace.
