The sun was out and the atmosphere was cheery at the 2018 National Chevrolet Show, held in Tuncurry over the weekend.
The event, 18 months in the making, saw more than 100 vehicles roll up to our sandy shores, and drew families from the woodwork in their dozens to enjoy the sunny weather and see the magnificent array of cars up close.
The Westpac Rescue Helicopter hosted a sausage sizzle for the event and raised more than $4000, in conjunction with the main attraction, the cars.
Every size, shape, model and make imaginable was present and on display, their owners travelling from across the country to be involved.
There were snow cones and snacks, coffee and cakes, sunshine and smiles, a great day all round.
A special dinner was held to close the event on Sunday (September 23), and no everyone left with something, be it a raffle prize or an award for their car.
