Forster and Taree owned and operated business, Viision Kitchens has been recognised in the Housing Industry Association (HIA) awards for the NSW North Coast region.
Raphael Kunzli was the designer and project manager for the project that received the nomination.
“We were the runner-up for the region, which encompasses the area from Tuncurry up to the QLD border,” Raphael explained.
“We are a locally owned and operated company with our own manufacturing factory so it is good to see that what we are designing and producing is being recognised over such a large region.
“There were a substantial amount of initial entries which then get culled down by the judges for a final three to make the awards night.”
The project that got Viision nominated for the award was a home in Tallwoods.

“The design brief from the client was an ‘all green design’,” Raphael continued.
“This was needed in order to meet the client’s specific health needs as she had a very high chemical intolerance.
“With that in mind, the design needed to have a natural elegance that compliments the home without dominating the space.”
The home was built by Waylyn Homes and the architect was Chris Jenkins Architects.
“This award means a lot to me personally as well as to Viison Kitchens as it is an important recognition of a great team effort to deliver a beautiful kitchen that ticks all the boxes not only in functionality and design but also with a green footprint for a sustainable future,” Raphael added.
