In this action packed sequel to the previous Mission Impossible film Rogue Nation the Impossible Mission Force is back in action.
Arms dealer code-named John Lark and a group of terrorists, known as the Apostles, plan to use three plutonium cores for a simultaneous nuclear attack on the Vatican, Jerusalem and Saudi Arabia.
Ethan Hunt (Tom Cruise) is tasked by his boss Alan Hunley (Alec Baldwin), to find John Lark in Paris.
Hunt is joined by a brutish CIA assassin August Walker (Henry Cavill), appointed by Alan’s superior and director of the CIA, Erica Sloan (Angela Bassett), to ensure the mission is completed - whatever it takes.
Hunt, the IMF team and Walker must prevent a disaster of epic proportions by getting the weapons back, but a villian from Hunt’s past, Solomon Lane (Sean Harris) haunts him.
