Action man Dwayne Johnson leads the cast of Skyscraper. He is former FBI hostage rescue team leader and US war veteran Will Sawyer who, after a wartime rescue mission went horribly wrong, became an amputee.
Will now assesses security for skyscrapers. While on assignment in China, he finds the tallest, supposedly safest building in the world on fire.
The building, called The Pearl, houses several floors that function as their own society and, despite the risks highlighted by Will, it is insisted it is impenetrable.
True to Wills belief, the building comes under attack by terrorists and he is framed for the blaze.
Will must find those responsible, clear his name and somehow rescue his family who are trapped inside the building above the fire line.
Also stars Neve Campbell (Sarah Sawyer) , McKenna Roberts, Pablo Schreiber, Ng Chin Han, Kevin Rankin, Australia’s Noah Taylor, and Byron Mann.
