Forster Tuncurry (Wallis Lake) Men’s Shed is holding an open day and garage sale at 40 Midge Orchid Rd, Darawank (Old Tip Rd) on July 21.
The event will run from 8am to early afternoon, featuring a barbecue, a number of shed demonstrations and a number of exciting raffle prizes to be won.
Meet the shed members who build community treasures, pick out some bargains at the garage sale and learn how the shed works and what it stands for.
Publicity officer and committee member, Peter Aulbury said the day would be an exciting event for the shed.
“We encourage the community to come along and enjoy a free sausage sizzle and free raffle for a jewellery box, a coffee table and two chopping boards.
“The day will include our garage sale, shed demonstrations and an invitation to see what we do and meet the members.”
